I was feeling sad all day missing my friends and the life I left over a year and a half ago. I decided that I needed to join a group for a run, so I brought my kids on their bikes and hit the trail. I saw a little heart hanging from a tree branch, so I stopped to take a closer look and found this sweet little heart that said, “I need a home.” For someone who has felt the same way for so long, it felt like exactly what I needed that day to adopt this cute little heart and give it a home.
