My 20 year old daughter and I were walking through Wash Park early evening on Sunday, 6/9/2024. She was accepted to University of Glasgow, so she’s moving to Scotland in 3 months. We were discussing Scotland, and her upcoming solo thru-hike of the 500 mile Colorado Trail in July. We both love dogs, so we were pleasantly distracted by all of the dogs we saw today. The entire day was beautiful, and my daughter and I are spending as much time together as we can before her hike and the overseas move.
We were almost finished with our walk when I noticed the quilted heart hanging in the tree. The heart will be a perfect reminder of today. Thank you to the person who made the heart… it means the world to me.
